Peter Mayhew, who was known as the lovable Wookiee “Chewbacca” in the Star Wars films, has died. He was 74.

In this photo, CLEo the Monkey was thrilled to meet this Chewbacca impersonator at the Golden Gate Bridge while visiting San Francisco in May, 2010.

CLEo believes that monkeys are descendants of Wookiees who may have visited earth from the planet Kashyyyk millions of years ago.
